📦 How to Return a Product

Repack the item securely in its original packaging.

Clearly label the package with your Order Number.

Include a brief note explaining the reason for your return.

Contact our Customer Service to inform us if you would like a refund or an exchange.

📫 Incorrect Address or Undeliverable Packages
If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, please contact Customer Service. Once we receive the package back, we’ll advise you on refund or reshipment options. Shipping and handling fees may apply.
🆓 Orders with Free Shipping
Domestic orders with free shipping will be refunded minus 15% (handling & restocking fee) plus any taxes paid.
🚚 Orders with Paid Shipping

Domestic orders: Refunded minus 5% (handling & restocking) excluding original shipping.

International orders: Refunded minus 10% (handling & restocking) excluding original shipping.
📞 Order Verification
If we identify an issue with your order (e.g., suspicious activity, address error), we will reach out for verification. If we receive no response within 5 consecutive days, we reserve the right to cancel the order. Refunds in such cases are subject to review.
⏳ Refund Timeline
Refunds are usually processed within 4 weeks, depending on the following:

5–10 business days: Transit time for your return to arrive

3–5 business days: Internal processing at our warehouse

5–10 business days: Time your bank takes to post the refund
Most refunds are issued faster than this estimated window.
📁 Claim Status for Lost Packages
If tracking shows your package was delivered but you didn’t receive it:

Contact our Customer Service immediately with your order number.

We will initiate a claim with the shipping carrier based on the following:
USPS – Claim must be filed between 15–60 days from shipping date
UPS & FedEx – Claim must be filed immediately
📌 Please note: Carrier investigations may take 30–40 days. Final decisions depend on the shipping company. Once resolved, we will proceed with refund, replacement, or resolution as appropriate.
💵 US State Sales Tax Compliance
As of February 2022, we are required to collect state sales tax on electronic purchases in applicable U.S. states. This is a legal obligation, and Chef James does not profit from these taxes. All collected taxes are remitted to the respective authorities.
